The next regular meeting of the Vancouver Prostate Cancer Support Group will be:

Date & Time: Thursday, August 7–11am

Location: via Zoom–link will be sent

Speaker: Shannon Smith*, Registered Dietician, Inspire Health Supportive Cancer Care Program

Topic: Nutrition & Prostate Cancer – during treatment and beyond

*Background: Shannon works as a registered dietitian with Inspire Health’s cancer supportive care program in Vancouver. She graduated with honours from UBC’s Food Nutrition and Health program and completed her dietetic internship with Vancouver Coastal Health in 2012. She is registered with the BC College of Dietitians and is a member of Dietitians of Canada. Shannon enjoys translating the science of nutrition to whole foods and cooking techniques. She works with folks to reach their health goals by tuning into their body’s wisdom and identifying sustainable shifts with eating that spark joy for the taste buds and feel good for the whole body.

Spouses and partners are welcome to attend!
